To start the AMA, we’ll turn to segment 1: Introduction.

Sarthak Shah (CIO): Okay we are ready & excited!

ONESHOT: Hi @sarthakkshah @RalfsBlockchain. Thank you for joining AMA today with our community. Can you introduce yourself to all users?

Sarthak Shah (CIO): Hey Thank you so much for having me, it’s great to be here. So I’m Sarthak Shah, Chief Innovation Officer at Metria Network & I have been into crypto for the last 7 years & from that day onwards never looked back.

Ralfs Batarags(CTO): I’m a technical person with a dedicated IT background. Have joined Metria Team to solve the technical challenges of multiple blockchain integrations

Since ethereum virtual machines and the whole ecosystem is decentralized this is a great chance for me to apply new ideas in a totally new environment.

Can you describe Metria Network in general?

Sarthak Shah (CIO): In a nutshell, if we speak about Metria Network it is a one-of-a-kind project which is community-centric & takes all the steps to make Blockchain technology accessible to all. We aim to inhibit the infamous blockchain trilemma comprising scalability, security, and decentralization. Striking the perfect balance between all three characteristics, Metria builds upon existing protocols to bring the new polysharding technology that makes cross-chain and multi-chain trade possible and facilitates the rare blend of DeFi and NFTs into a unified ecosystem.

We are a standalone blockchain ecosystem which is EVM compatible, poised to launch the Metria DEX & NFT Marketplace. On the Metria Network, users can swap tokens in Metria/ preferred token pairs via a cross chain EVM compatible bridge.

Metria will be a Multi-Chain from Day 1 with its NFT and DeFi marketplaces able to interact with a wide range of live blockchains. For streamlining this operation, Metria will be using cross chain asset bridges. It is building on top of the Polygon chain for now to streamline faster transactions at marginal cost. Later on, once the native blockchain is ready, it will shift to the native chain. Metria will bridge remotely and locally with other blockchains to facilitate better interoperability.

ONESHOT: Please tell me what you want the Metria Network project to achieve in 2022 and beyond?

Sarthak Shah (CIO): As you can see in our roadmap, we have mentioned many interesting things in 2022 & we are already on track, at the moment we are ready for the launch & already started working on really cool and unique features for Metria DeX & NFT Marketplace.

We are planning to have a Centralized & Decentralized NFT Marketplace, with some unique features like users can buy celebrity owned collectibles on our centralized platform. Non technical users will also be able to mint their NFTs by sending the request to the admin panel. We are also helping the creators to reach mass audiences by automatically indexing their artworks in our partnered blockchains.

ONESHOT: So tell us more about Metria Network’s development team?

Sarthak Shah (CIO): So I would say we are really honored & lucky to have one of the best minds out there in the crypto space. We have @RalfsBlockchain as our CTO who is leading the development team. We have developers working for us from Dubai & Europe. We also have one of the most trusted & well-know @lawrencehutson as our Strategic Advisor who has worked previously with many successful projects.

Unfortunately today @lawrencehutson is on a different call so he couldn’t join us

ONESHOT: Most users are only interested in short-term benefits rather than the real value of the project in the long run. How can your Project attract users to invest in your project in the long term?

Sarthak Shah (CIO): Really interesting question it’s going to be a little long so bear with me

Yes, I completely agree with you & I relate to it because, to be honest when I started my journey in Crypto even I started looking for short-term benefits and funny story my profit used to also last for short-term. So I believe if I invest in any project it should have value for the long term. As Metria Network is planning to develop a Multi-Chain DeX & NFT Marketplace so the traders don’t need to cut down their profit margins anymore by transferring their assets into different exchanges.

In this way, it will break the barrier where assets are restricted to a single blockchain for operation. With the help of this, NFT exchange and swaps will be possible across a wider network with very little fee. It will be beneficial for users who want to swap tokens across multiple high yield protocols but they have to go through a complex process of analyzing their returns by going on the platform.

NFTs across multiple chains experience no price discoverability. To put it simply, suppose you have minted an NFT on Polygon, it will not be listed on the BSC chain. As a result, NFTs fail to reach out to a wider audience for mass level adoption. On the Metria NFT marketplace, NFT creators get the chance to mint NFTs and get access to automatic indexing across all the partner networks of the Metria chain.

I believe that we have many more things to offer people for the long term but this were one of the most important things which users can consider to stay connected with us in the long run.

ONESHOT: Where does the “Metria” name come from?

Sarthak Shah (CIO): This is one of the most interesting question, I answered this question in our community also before so Metria is 2 years of brainchild & we didn’t had any name finalized for the project for a really long time but one day we were reading one article about Metaverse & I am talking about very long when hardly anyone knew about Metaverse & BOOM!🤯 We don’t know how we transited from Metaverse to Metria but yes that’s how we thought about the name and somehow it clicked with our vision & mission.

ONESHOT: What motivated you to start this project?

Sarthak Shah (CIO): There is not just one answer to this question, it has many multiple answers because there were several problems we were facing at the time when we decided to start this project, but let me just sum it up for you. Some of the biggest reasons were not user friendly DeX & NFT Marketplace, always prone to threats, centralized backend, lack of interoperability.

I saw many projects come and go in the last 7 years, and to be honest, there were some really phenomenal projects but somewhere the growth of those projects stopped due to low liquidity, blockchain trilemma, lack of interoperability, fragmented ecosystem, and many more reasons.

We carefully understand those problems & with the right team we came up with promising solutions. So yes this was the spark that motivated us to work on this project.

ONESHOT: Community support is one of the biggest aspects of a project’s success. Most projects have programs that interact with their users. Does the project have a special plan to engage and expand the community and improve the user experience?

Sarthak Shah (CIO): As I said earlier also we are building something that is community centric. We are going to support Multi-Chain bridges from the first day itself. The community can buy the token from Ethereum, Polygon, & Binance Smart Chain. We are also going to have multiple vaults in different chains for ease of the community with the highest APY, in regards with that we are also having stable-coin based vaults. In our NFT Marketplace we are also having a centralized exchange for the non-technical creators who can just deploy the NFTs by requesting in the admin panel. As everything we do is community centric so to support the creators on our NFT Marketplace we are helping them to index all the artworks in all the partnered blockchains so their work can reach to the broader community.

ONESHOT: Question to Ralfs, what do you aim to achieve with Metria Network? @RalfsBlockchain

Ralfs Batarags(CTO): At the moment, there is no cryptocurrency that can be purchased and used by the average man to facilitate like a real medium of exchange. Some cryptocurrencies are becoming more accessible, and they may become more reliable as a worldwide instrument of exchange in the future. Metria should be easy to install, easy to use, receive, spend, invest and in the end of day create value to its members.

We often create user interviews and create polls to deeply understand what keeps people from adopting decentralized solutions and then work on these issues.

ONESHOT: Do you have any audit reports?

Ralfs Batarags(CTO): Yes. we take audits seriously as a constant and ongoing priority. Metria Network is working with Certik, popular security professionals from New York. Metria Network’s initial audit report is signed and is available right now. http://certik.com

ONESHOT: What other functions does Metria Network offer?

Ralfs Batarags(CTO): While creating Decentralized Exchange and Non Fungible Token Marketplace, we always think about seamless user experience, usability and security of the solution. Metria Network is a secure and user friendly solution for every level of expertise. The functions we are impementing go through extensive quality assurance.

At the moment we build the backbone of network and add new features after the main work is finished. Lots of security relies in base level of such solution

ONESHOT: What is the uniqueness of Metria Network that cannot be found in other Network projects thats been released so far? And how the demand of Metria Network will increase in the future? what steps would you take to increase the demand?

Sarthak Shah (CIO): Bitcoin can be used for transactions and storage of value. Ethereum takes this one step further by running computer code on Ethereum virtual machines, other networks offer good profit but are hard to implement and use…

so what is our goal?

Metria Network connects to all popular blockchains and works without swapping or wrapping.

The Metria Token which is our native token has a fixed, deflationary supply. The Metria Token is the backbone for Metria Network and is used in all of the functions that are and will be developed

ONESHOT: Will there be a public sale, when do you plan for launch and where, and concerning the COMMUNITY, DO YOU SUPPORT COMMUNITY GOVERNANCE. ?

Ralfs Batarags(CTO): Yes, we have chosen that there will be a public sale in 3 largest exchanges — QuickSwap, PancakeSwap and Uniswap. Launch will happen soon but we can not share the exact date right now

All of our chosen exchanges have seen popularity increase due to the high speed and low fees

About community governance, next involvment will be about burning the tokens. In later phase the tokens will act as voting mechanism in Metria DAO

Metria Network has a clear roadmap ahead and that involves the decentralization of governance

Do the token holders have right to participate in the governance of the project? On what kind of decisions can they vote on about the project? And do you have any plan to create other feature? Maybe yield farm, stake, or NFT project? Can you explain more detail?

Sarthak Shah (CIO) To start we have a roadmap ahead which also includes member participation in decisions about token burning. The ecosystem will run its own DAO or Decentralized Autonomous Organization to govern the operations of the ecosystem.

On the Metria system, the Dapps or protocols that will go live will experience a chain-agnostic operation and lower gas fees. The community can vote for a change by staking their Metria token. The ecosystem will use off-chain votings to mitigate the costs incurred for voting on a proposal.

In this way, the Metria ecosystem will create a conducive environment for various swap protocols, DeFi, Dapps, and NFT marketplaces to operate independently by lowering their overhead operational expenditure.

We are also going to have multiple vaults in different chains for ease of the community with the highest APY, in regards with that we are also having stable-coin based vaults.

ONESHOT:

As I understand it, this project is still in its early stages, and you’re just getting started. Can you tell us about your progress thus far? What is the most recent important update, and what are you currently working on?

Sarthak Shah (CIO): By taking the best features from existing blockchain technologies we have used the best features to create blueprints and smart contracts for a unifying blockchain solution. We are closely working with crypto analysts and developers to achieve security and maximum usability with our smart contracts. On top of this technology we will launch a decentralized exchange and NFT market that welcomes newcomers and experienced NFT pros as well.

COMMUNITY: NFT is very hot trending now. Do you have a play to have NFTs in your platforms? If so, Could you tell us the plan of your project in NFTs?

Sarthak Shah (CIO): Yes as NFT is something very trending but at the same time there are many phenomenal creators who lacks the technical knowledge and they are not able to tokenize their artwork. So to bridge that gap we also thought we should have a centralized marketplace too, so they just have to request the admin panel to deploy their artworks.

So we are having a decentralised marketplace also but just to bridge that gap to help non technical people we decided to have one centralised marketplace

Two options, one for beginners and other for people who have already used crypto and NFTs
